Originally from Hagertown, MD, I moved to Tacoma and started with Amber Trott State Farm in December 2020. I loved living in the Pacific Northwest, but needed to move to Pennsylvania due to family circumstances and now serve our customer's needs remotely. I love helping our families with their billing and coverage questions, scheduling appointments to meet with our team, and helping to take care of any needs that arise. I attended Frostburg University for college and graduated with a BA in Parks and Recreation Management and a BS in Psychology. I have a son named Jack, who is the love of my life. I look forward to continuing to take care of our Tacoma neighbors in the years to come.

I’ve lived in Tacoma my entire life apart from a brief study abroad program in Uganda and an internship at the UN in Geneva, Switzerland. My experience at the UN left me with the understanding that no matter where we’re from, we’re not all that different from each other. I loved being around so many different people from every country in the world. Hearing all of the languages spoken was amazing.
After returning from Geneva, I graduated from Pacific Lutheran University and worked in the credit union industry for ten years. My time in the credit union world was divided between lending, developing employee talent, and managing a couple of our local branches. Realizing that my true passion is in helping educate people on their financial options, I enjoy empowering them to make informed decisions to help protect their assets. I got licensed in insurance and now apply the same approach with our policyholders at State Farm that I did in lending and financial industry. My greatest fulfillment comes from making insurance concepts accessible and understandable by helping our policyholders navigate their coverage options. I’m all about building strong relationships with our policyholders.
From a young age, I developed a wanderlust that I’ve yet to satisfy. The world never ceases to amaze me. I’ve been to almost every continent and find joy in discovering new destinations, exploring different cultures, and expanding my horizons. A few highlights are hiking into Machu Picchu, getting charged by an elephant on safari in Africa, swimming with manta rays in Hawaii, and floating down the Mekong through Thailand and Laos. In my free time, I like to plan trips to places I haven’t been as well as ski and snowshoe in the winter and hiking and kayaking in the summer. I love cold plunging all year around. The fact that we live so close to the ocean and the mountains definitely brings a lot of joy.

Originally from the East Coast, I joined Team Trott in May 2021 and have loved every minute of serving our local customers for their auto, home, and life insurance needs. I come from a teaching background and am passionate about educating customers on how to protect themselves and their family. I am a proud military wife and first-time mama to a little baby boy named Wells. Our family will be relocating to Texas at the end of the 2024 year, where I will continue serving our customers remotely. Outside of the office, I enjoy hiking, cooking, and reading.

Growing up in Northern California, I was surrounded by the natural beauty of the giant redwoods and the many rivers meeting the sea. When I moved to the Tacoma area when I was 19, I fell in love with the lush forests and seemingly endless waterways of Western Washington.
I spend my time off exploring with my husband – hiking, biking, kayaking, and camping or working on garden and craft projects. I started my journey into the world of insurance during the pandemic and took my years of customer service experience into a new path of helping people understand their coverage and tailoring policies for their needs.
I have recently relocated from King County and joined Amber’s team on their mission to treat each of their customers as individuals and personalize to their specific needs.
